Members

Any company meeting one of the following conditions may apply to join SDCA as a member:

​

  • It must be a commercial corporation under Swiss law and registered in Switzerland and not be subject to the law of a foreign State in any manner whatsoever.

  • It must be active in any one of the following sectors:

    • Data centers located in Switzerland

    • Hosting providers with a colocation activity located in Switzerland

    • Integrators and managed service companies active with the member data centers or hosting providers

    • Education, research institutes and training centers with activities related to data center

The SDCA committee shall decide on the membership applications in accordance with the procedure defined by the statutes.

  • If you wish to become a SDCA Member, fill out the Member Application Form.

  • Your application will be reviewed by the SDCA Committee for approval.

  • You will then receive a response from the Committee. This may take a few weeks depending of the board meetings.

  • If your application is accepted, the following documents will be sent to you:

    • The Charter and the Statutes as well as various presentation documents on the association.

    • A payment form for the one-time registration fee

    • ​A payment form for annual membership fee​

  • You will have to sign and return a copy of the Charter and Statues.

  • You will also be required to pay the registration fee and the annual membership fee.

Upon completion of this procedure, you will receive a confirmation from us that you have become a SDCA member. This will entitle you to use the SDCA member logo, have acces to all documents, and participate at all events.
